Abstract/Summary:
Aggressive behavior is the act of intentionally inflicting physical or psychological harm on another person.Junior high school students are in adolescence,their self-awareness is high,and they are more impulsive.Excessive aggressive behavior is likely to lead them to abandon their careers.It is well known that family has influence on a person,and one’s level of self-esteem also directly affects his attitude when facing people and issues.In this study,474 junior middle school students from the third grade in Tianjin were surveyed using FAD,AQ and SES.It deeply studies the relationship between family function,self-esteem,and aggressive behavior,and whether the self-esteem can be used as a mediator of family function and aggressive behavior.After processing the data through SPSS and Mplus,the following conclusions are obtained:1.The family function of junior high school students is generally good,while there are significant differences in the grade level,current stress level,birthplace,and family income.2.The attack behavior of middle school students is generally at an intermediate level,and there are significant differences in gender,only-child,and birthplace.3.The level of self-esteem of junior middle school students is at a moderately high level.At the same time,there are significant differences in gender.current stress level,birthplace,and family income.4.There are two correlations between family function,aggressive behavior and self-esteem of junior middle school students.5.Family function and self-esteem of junior high school students can significantly predict junior high school students’ aggressive behavior.6.Self-esteem plays an intermediary role in the relationship between family function and aggressive behavior.
