Study On The Original Stories About Three Schools Of Poems

Three schools of Poems are essential part of the Confucian classic in Han Dynasty.As Mao Poems,there are many original stories in annotations of Qi?Lu?Han schools.Studying on these stories is a kind of interpretation method,which means discuss the backgrounds and origins of the poems in The Book of Songs.The dissertation introduces the original stories of Poems in pre-Qin period as a reference,and the main body is divided into three parts:The first part is about systemic pectinations on original stories of three schools of Poems.We can conclude that only a few of poems have different original stories among three schools.And agreements between Jin Wen and Gu Wen Classics are far more than differences.Besides,we can summarize the characters of the original stories about three schools of Poems.Firstly,Han-Confucians always discuss the original stories of Feng poems because their writers and backgrounds are usually not quite clear.Secondly,many Ya poems have original stories in their verses.Thirdly,the original stories of Song poems in the annotations of three schools of Poems are obvious similar due to the particularity of sacred poems.The second part is about the reasons why there are similarities and differences among these original stories.When they are similar,firstly,Han-Confucians might quote the same materials that are still survived or had been lost over the years.Secondly,they all concerned about reality and application.In contrast,the original stories are different because they quoted different materials,or they extend the materials and fabricated stories separately on their own understandings.When comparing the annotations of Qi?Lu?Han schools with the Preface of Mao Poem,they are both similar and different.The poems with definite original stories are totally uncontested or four schools of Poems might quote the same materials.There are also differences,because they pursued different academic spirit and the Preface of Mao Poem divided poems by the rise and fall of the times.The third part is about the reasons why Han-Confucians always discuss the original stories of Poems.They inherited the pre-Qin thinkers' tradition of “understand the meanings according to the origins”.And they intend to ensure the authority of their annotations.Moreover,these poems contain the events.From the perspective of literature,investigating the original stories can supplement the lack of narrative and enrich the artistic conception of poems,which can expand the influences of the poems.
