Women' s health plays an important role in national public health. With the spread of modern medical knowledge in China, the rising trend of women's liberation and the gradual deepening of national crisis, all sectors of the Chinese society pay more attention to the health for women. In addition to the influence of the international community,in the 1920s to 1930s,Nanjing National Government followed the trend of the times and vigorously promoted the construction of women' s health affairs.Nanjing National Government promulgated a series of regulations and made clear provisions on women's physical liberation, reproductive health, special occupational health, women's health education and so on.At the same time,Nanjing National Government gradually established a more systematic policy on women's health. In order to ensure the implementation of health policy,Nanjing National Government formed a more complete health administrative system from the central to the local government. All provinces were actively engaged in women's health construction in accordance with established women's health policies, such as the ban of women's foot-banding and corseting, strengthed the treatment of women's diseases, promoted reproductive health, carried out health education and so on.The women's health policy of the Nanjing National Government liberated the women's body and ensured the health of the women. To a certain extent, the health of women in China was improved and the development of women's health was promoted. However, the domestic political instability, the policy' s imperfect, the regional differences of the provinces and cities and the lack of women's health funding led to the following shortcoming, such as an imbalance of development in the country, limited results and so forth.
