Sentences with serial verb phrases is one of the special grammar structures of Chinese because of the complexity of its meaning and the particularity of the structure.Students have certain difficulty in grasping of the comparative sentences in the acquisition of comparative sentences and use will appear a certain degree of bias.The teaching material is one of the essential tools in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.A good set of teaching materials for foreign language not only helps teachers to control the main direction of teaching content,but also can help students master the learning content.And grammar point of the Notes and the preparation of practice is particularly important to achieve a good set of teaching materials,practice in all stages of language learning are playing an irreplaceable role.However,there are still few studies on exercises in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This paper will discuss about the Sentences with serial verb phrases in grammar points of annotation distribution and practice.This essay will utilize four of the most popular textbooks which are Road to Success,New Practical Chinese Reader,Boya Chinese and Development of Chinese.Based on the Chinese Proficiency Standard and Grammar Syllabus and the theory of writing materials,the paper uses the literature review method,the comprehensive analysis method and the data statistic method to analyze the annotation and practice of the Sentences with serial verb phrases in the teaching material,the commentary of the verb is too brief,and even some of the textbooks do not involve any commentary on the Sentences with serial verb phrases.And teaching materials in this structure with the practice of questions for the replacement of questions,complete the sentence,reading and other mechanical exercises and comprehension exercises,less communicative practice.By analyzing the design of exercises in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,it is found that there are some problems such as practice form and simple practice in practice.Combined with the system of HSK composition,it is pointed out that the types of errors in the use of Chinese characters are mainly misinterpreted,missed and misplaced.At the same time,this paper designs corresponding exercises to reduce the generation of errors according to the different types of errors.Finally,this paper puts forward the following suggestions for the problems in the practice of teaching materials:clarify the annotations,semantics and grammar of the relevant interrogative sentences,increase the repetition of the language points in the practice,the idiomatic environment and the speech scene are constructed,Design of the fun,set up exercises in multi-angle multi-form.This paper designs the corresponding type according to each proposal,hoping to offer some suggestions to foreign language teaching materials.
