The Study Of The Creation Of Thai Writer Daen-aran Saengthong

Daen-aran Saengthong is a few writers in Thailand whose works are famous in Western countries.After his first novel,the White Shadow,was selected by Marcel Barang to be the 20 best novels of Thailand in 1994,his works have always been interested by Marcel Barang,and it could be said that with the help of Mr.Marcel Barang's translation,Daen-aran's following literary works have been wide read throughout Europe,except for the White Shadow,Venom is another well-known short story of his.Also,after having been ignored by Thailand's literature circle for many years,Daen-aran Saengthong's industriousness(in Europe he is recognized by his real name,Sanei Sangsuk)finally could prove himself as a capable writer and his notable work,Venom and other short stories,eventually could capture S.E.A write committee's attentionand won this literature award in 2014 after 21 years since his first novelwas rejected to win this prize in 1993.This study aims to analyze what the writer's thought,techniques,including influence for creating his literature works are and how/why these are able to interest Western world and Thailand's S.E.A write award.
