The Relationship Of Father Presence And Responsibility For Marriage And Love Of College Students

Father presence is psychological nearness and accessibility that their children felt,it is to evaluate the father and father-son relationship from the child's perspective.High-quality father presence is conducive to the healthy growth of children and will effect their responsibility for marriage and love.For college students who have received higher education,their understanding of the responsibility for marriage and love will also show different characteristics under the influence of the concept of equality and freedom.This paper is aimed at studying the relationship between father presence and the responsibility for marriage and love,as well as the impact of the level of father presence and the development of the responsibility for marriage and love.By surveying 417 college students in Tianjin with Father Presence Questionnaire of Chinese Revision and Responsibility for Marriage and Love Questionnaire We explore the status of father presence and the responsibility for marriage and love of college students and analyze the data with analysis of variance,correlation analysis,regression analysis,then we give some advice to improve the responsibility for marriage and love from family education and school education.The results are as follows:(1)College students has high-quality father presence.There were significant differences in sex,birthplace,single child,father's educational level,mother's education level and family type.The score of urban children were higher than those of rural children.The score of single child was higher than that of non-only child.The score of children with higher educational level of their parents was higher than others.(2)College students has high responsibility for marriage and love.There are significant differences in sex,birthplace,family type,love experience,and status of love.The score of students with love experience are higher than others.Singles' are lower than non-singles'.(3)There is a significant correlation between the father presence and the responsibility for marriage and love."The relationship between mother and grandfather","the support of mother to father-son relationship" and "believes of father" can predict the the responsibility for marriage and love.
