Influenced by the pressure of entrance,students,parents and the teachers pay close attention to junior high school students' academic performance.How to make the junior middle school students through adolescence can obtain excellent academic performance at the same time has been the important hot topic in the field of education psychology phenomenon.Previous studies have shown that students' academic performance is influenced by many factors,this study will focus on the family upbringing that external factors and students self-control the intrinsic factor's influence on academic achievement.It is advantageous to rich the former research in this area,also for more in-depth studies of this field in the future to lay a theoretical foil.This research adopts the questionnaire investigation,extracts the 600 junior middle school students in Haiyan,with statistical differences in test,correlation analysis and regression analysis method,explore the relations between family upbringing and self-control? academic performance.The results of the study are as follows:(1)Modern parents for children's upbringing is positive,now that self-control ability of junior middle school students is generally high.(2)Father preferred boys,Grade one students of the parents' positive parenting is better than grade three students parents,Urban junior high school students parents' positive parenting is better than rural junior high school students parents,the one-child parents in the process of parenting pay more attention to the positive parenting.(3)On the self-control,the girl's self-control significantly better than boys,and the grade Two is the transition period in the development of students' self-control,urban junior high school students self-control significantly better than the countryside junior middle school students,Only the female of self-control is better than not only children.(4)Parents' emotional warmth,understanding,and academic achievement is significantly positive correlation;Parents refuse,denial and punishment,and academic performance is significantly negative correlation;(5)Junior high school students' self-control and academic achievement was significantly positive correlation;(6)Parents' emotional warmth and understanding and self-control has significant positive correlation;Parents' excessive interference,rejection,punishing and self-control has significant negative correlation.(7)The two factors of father too much interference,mother's emotional warmth and understanding positively predict academic performance;Self-control positively predict academic performance;The factor of Mother's emotional warmth and understanding positively predict self-control,but excessive interference and father mother preference are predicted negative self-control.
