This report is about the translation practice of Startup 101-How to Build a Successful Business with Crowdfunding and Business Loan(Volume1).The two books pertain to financing text. This practice is of great significance in that,by introducing entrepreneurial approaches and experience abroad,it not only helps to provide reference for domestic entrepreneurs, but also will enrich the translation of business texts and provide a new orientation for scholars.Challenged by the difference between Chinese and English cultures and languages in translating financing texts, and guided by Peter Newmark's “Text Typology” theory, the author attempts to combine semantic translation with communicative translation and makes use of conversion, separation, combination and other techniques to deal with the difficulties in translation so as to reproduce the ideas and content of the original text. |
