Thanksgiving teacher refers to the students recognized in the heart of the teacher to give his love and grace,and hope that a positive emotional experience and behavior feedback for the teacher.It is a kind of excellent quality of students demonstrated in the understanding of the relationship between teachers and students in the process of treatment.In recent years,the contradiction between teachers and students in secondary schools continue to highlight,there are always some abuse of teachers,and even beaten the teacher’s.These kind of behavior often seen in newspapers which been called loss of grace events.Because the middle school stage is the second peak period of individual growth.At this stage,students are in a critical period of growth,they can be strongly plasticit.To give students a good guidance and education,the formation of good conduct and personality at this stage is extremely important.Thanksgiving is a good tradition of our country.It is necessary and feasible to carry out gratitude education in middle school for the contradiction between teachers and students.Therefore,it is very important to improve the relationship between teachers and students in junior high school,and to improve the level of Thanksgiving teachers.In this study,we tested the reliability and validity of a questionnaire on the quality of gratitude of the middle school students.Secondly,using the questionnaire to investigate the current situation of junior high school students,to understand the attitude and characteristics of their gratitude to teachers.Then based on students’ gratitude group counseling developed a inventory about the tradition of respecting the ideological content of junior middle school teachers to improve junior middle school students’ gratitude level of teachers,and through the experiment to prove the effectiveness of the intervention activities.Finally,come the results of the group counseling,the students generally accepted and confirmed that the group counseling can improve the level of thanksgiving teachers in junior high school,the conclusion is as follows:(1)The level of gratitude teachers in junior high school is better,and in each factor level from high to low is teachers’ cognition,teachers’ behavior,teachers’ emotion and gratitude teachers’ intention.(2)There are significant differences between male and female students in gratitude teachers’ cognition and gratitude teachers’ behavior.There is no significant difference between the male and female teachers in gratitude emotion and gratitude intention.(3)There is no significant difference between the only child and non only child in the Thanksgiving teacher on the four factors.(4)There are significant differences between urban and rural students in the gratitude of teachers on the four factors,urban students are significantly higher than rural students.(5)There are significant differences between the students’ cadres and the non-student cadres in gratitude teachers’ cognition and gratitude teachers’ behavior.But there is no significant difference between the student cadres and the non student cadres in the sense of gratitude teachers’ emotion and gratitude.(6)In the first grade,there were no significant differences between the second and third grades in the four factors of Thanksgiving teachers.(7)There is no significant difference between urban and rural middle schools in the four factors.But the key middle schools in the city are significantly higher than those of the nomal middle school in the Thanksgiving teachers,but the key factors of the middle school teachers are only higher than that of the urban middle schools,which are the three factors(cognition,emotion and behavior)of the teachers who are grateful to the teachers in the key middle schools(8)Junior middle school students’ gratitude group counseling is an effective way to improve the level of gratitude teachers in junior high school.(9)Group counseling is a kind of teaching method which is suitable for middle school.
