| In recent years, the researches on gratitude and well-being have gained unprecedented attention of the domestic and foreign psychologists.Adolescence is the critical period of the happiness education. The youth groups is an important force to achieve the positive Chinese dream. Therefore, under the background of new era, it is very important for the junior high school students’ physical and mental health to explore effective method of the school mental health and happiness education in China. This research mainly includes two parts.Part One: The researcher investigated 290 students of the first grade junior middle school in Nanchang county,Jiangxi,with MHQ and AGS. It aims at verifying the relation between junior high school students’ gratitude and well-being(including the subjective well-being and psychological well-being),and verifying that the gratitude can predict well-being to some extent.Part Two: This experiment is designed as experiment group-control group and pre-post test.Study participants are divided into experimental group and control group.This study make the experimental group do the Gratitude Group Counseling for two months, the control group without any psychological intervention. It aims at testing the effect of the Gratitude Group Counseling for the junior high school students’ happiness through the analysis of the pre-post test of the both group.The results of this study are as follows:1、There is a very significant correlation between junior high school students’ gratitude and well-being(including the subjective well-being and psychological well-being).Through further regression analysis, it finds that gratitude has significant predict effect to subjective well-being, psychological well-being and comprehensive well-being, and its amount of interpretation are 28.1%, 40% and28.1% respectively.Therefore, to some extent,gratitude can partly predict comprehensive well-being(subjective well-being and psychological well-being).2、The Gratitude Group Counseling can significantly promote the junior middleschool students ’s gratitude and well-being. Especially, the score of perception and experience of the social grace(factor 1), perception and experience of the natural grace(factor 3), expression and reward of the social grace increases significantly.The score of life satisfaction and positive emotion of the subjective well-being,altruistic behavior of the psychological well-being significantly increases.The Gratitude Group Counseling attracts the students’ positive participation with the advantages of the open mode of interaction, the variety of experience, group atmosphere of emotional support and acceptance. The Gratitude Group Counseling plays an important role to the ascension of the maintenance of the physical and mental health and happiness of junior high school students.Therefore,it can be widely promoted in the education and teaching of the school. |
