A Report On Simulated English-chinese Simultaneous Interpreting Practice

This is a report on a simulated English-Chinese simultaneous interpreting task.A speech entitled “Building a Northeast Asia Economic Community” from the 25 th Northeast Asia Economic forum was chosen as the source speech of the simulated English-Chinese simultaneous interpreting practice,based on which this report was completed.In this report,the author introduces and analyses the whole process of the interpreting task and the problems,the causes of problems and coping tactics with examples from the perspective of the Denial Gile's Effort Models.However,this thesis is based on a simulated SI circumstance,therefore it is inevitable that the simulation is different from the real-time experience,and the related analysis has its limitations to some extent.The author hopes that the countermeasures proposed in this report will be conducive to future interpretation researchers in tactics.
