A Research Of Hu Shunzhi

The celebrated official Hu Shunzhi is the pride of his family which is called Jin Zi Hu's family in Jixi in Song dynasty.He wrote a lot of articles which petitioned to the emperor with patriotism during the period of two dynasties alternation.He talked about current affairs,attacked the evil officials with articles,made the emperor Qinzong of Song trust him very much.During the period of emperor Gaozong of Song,Hu Shunzhi did good job when he was a local official,he expelled evil forces and pacified his people.His articles which created in his patriotic enthusiasm maintains all of his salvation feelings and creative passion.Nether he nor his article works should be neglected.The thesis comprises four chapters.The first two chapters are about he and his family's study,the later two chapters are literary discussion.The following in details are:The first chapter studies genealogy and members about Hu's family,and describe the appearance of Jin Zi Hu's family in Jixi in the Song Dynasty based on Hu's genealogy.This chapter is divided into two parts,one of it is to enumerate the important family members of the biography and writing;the other is to discuss the relationship between Wang Zao and the family of Hu Shunzhi.The second chapter discusses the three most important things in Hu's life(No.l:He actively offered suggestions to the Emperor during the period of emperor Qinzong;No.2:He did a lot of good things for the people in his place in the Shaoxing reign period;No.3:He was framed by Qin Hui and died in prison in 1143.)which can show his personality and integrity as a celebrated official.And the second section identified the mistakes about the event that Hu framed Gao Deng.The third chapter discusses Hu's articles which petitioned to the emperor,and introduces the background,content and style of these articles.This chapter will analysis his articles by combined with the article style during the period of two dynasties alternation and the social background.Hu's articles were mainly written during the period of emperor Qinzong.He tried to save the dynasty,so the purpose of his articles was criticize bad officials,give advice to the emperor,make plan against the enemy.His essay writing pithy,has clear thinking,progressive reasoning and sincere emotion.In particular,his patriotic feeling was praised by people.Sun Di said:" He has a patriotic heart." Although he did not write much articles,but all of them reflect the social situation at that time,which have both literary and historical value.The fourth chapter discusses Hu's poems,then analyzes the content and characteristics of his poems.The main purpose of his poems is hermit sentiments.The characteristic of those poems is natural and simple,although there were not many,but every poem has it's own concept.The words are as fresh as words written by Tao Yuanming and Meng Haoran.
