Tang Dynasty not only had a comprehensive national strength,but also a frequent foreign exchange.The neighboring countries actively sent envoy into Tang,to learn the advanced culture of the Tang Dynasty.Among them,Shilla maintained the most close relationship with Tang Dynast,not only sent envoys to the Tang Dynasty frequently,but also sent hostages,taken by children from Shilla royal,into Tang repeatedly.Hostages was named "hostage",but in fact,they were the friendly link between Tang Dynasty and Shilla on politics and culture.They were allowed to study in Guozijian of Tang Dynasty,and served in army of Tang and Shilla,and took important officer in the Tang Dynasty.Obviously,the hostages were so skilled on Chinese culture that promoted the communication between two sides.The most standout of hostages,such as Jin Renwen,is playing an important role in the battle that the Tang-Shilla united army send expeditions against Paekche and Goguryeo.The method,content and effect of Shilla hostages on learning Chinese are undoubtedly the historical topics that Teaching Chinese as Foreign Language community.Therefore,this paper takes the Shilla hostage into the Tang Dynasty as the research object,investigates the historical research of Chinese and Korean,analyzes and concludes the relevant research of the scholars,and systematically combs the Chinese learning situation of the hostage in Tang-Shilla League and Warming,to explore what the reference and inspiration the way that the hostages learned Chinese can bring,and wish to provide benefits to today’s Teaching Chinese as Foreign Language.
