The translation report is based on Chapter One in Human Rights in World History,which describes the development of human rights,the plight of human rights in contemporary society and the hum an rights reforms that have been done for this purpose.The original work belongs to so cial science academic work and the word s are rigorous.There are many professional terms and complex sentences,so it is very difficult to translate the text.In the proce ss of translation,the au thor flexibly uses literal translation,free translation and other translation methods in order to m ake the translation faithful to the original text and conform to Chinese expression.The report consists of four parts: the first part is the description of the translation task,which mainly introduces the material source,the brief introduction of the work and the author.The second part is the translation proce ss description,which m ainly includes the pre-translation preparation,the key points and difficult points and the review,polish and finalization after the tran slation.The third part is the translation case analysis,which an alyzes the transla tion mainly from vocabulary,syntax and discourse.The fourth part is the summary of translation practice.The autho r concludes the repor t with the tr anslation experience,and puts forward som e translation suggestions so as to improve the translation skills.
