Study On Interpreting Strategy Of Television News From The Perspective Of Skopos Theory

This thesis is guided by the Skopos theory,and partly by the theory of the classical communication mode of communication,taking the simultaneous interpretation video of CCTV news channel on April 16th,2013 as the object of the police press conference of Boston marathon bombing.This paper analyzes the process characteristics of CCTV,and analyzes the main problems and causes of CCTV's simultaneous interpretation activities.At the same time,the author gives some suggestions on the interpretation of Chinese TV news in view of the problem.This study first summarizes some errors in the case of TV simultaneous interpretation,including a large amount of miscarriage of translation omitted,ignore the audience feelings and so on.Then,under the guidance of communication model,the study analyzes the causes of the mistakes from the following five aspects:the communicator,the communication content,the communication channel,the communication object and the effect of communication.The causes of the errors are mainly the lack of extra-linguistic knowledge and thinking habit Differences and so on;Then,this research combs the relevant research on the TV news interpretation at home and abroad,and points out the contribution and deficiency of the interpreter research community to the study of TV news interpretation.And points out the feasibility of the strategy of simultaneous interpretation of television news from the perspective of teleology.Thirdly,the study introduces the principles of the Skopos Theory:purpose rule,coherence rule and fidelity rule,in which purpose rule is the most important and translation strategy under teleology is determined by the purpose of translation.In the end,in the perspective of purpose rule,coherence rule and fidelity rule,the study analyzes the strategy of TV simultaneous interpretation.The the application of the purpose rule is the appropriate content and caution with the evaluation of words,the coherence rule analysis mainly to improve the literacy of translators and strengthen the TV equipment support.last,the application of fidelity rule is analyzed mainly focusing on the translation strategy of enhancing the requirement of authenticity and taking cultural differences into consideration.
