The Relationship Of Special Training School Students Among Self-support Personality,Family Parenting Style And Self-concept

Objective: To contrast the Special training school students with Ordinary school students' self-support personality;and to investigate the relationship of special training school students among self-support personality,family parenting style and self-concept.Methods: 974 adolescents at 7 special training school and 2ordinary school were assessed using the Young Students Self-support Personality Scale,S-EMBU-C and Tennessee Self-concept Scale.Results:(1)Ordinary school students' self-support personality is significantly higher than special training school students.(2)There was a significant correlation between self-support personality,family parenting style and self-concept.(3)Family parenting style and self-concept can predict the development of self-support personality:Father refuse can negative predicts self-support personality;Father emotional warmth can positive predicts self-support personality;Mother refuse can negative predicts self-support personality;Mother emotional warmth and Mother over protect can positive predicts self-support personality;(4)Self concept plays an intermediary role in father refuse,mother refuse,father emotional warmth,mother emotional warmth and self-support personality.Conclusion:(1)Ordinary school students have more self-support personality than special training school students.(2)Family parenting style,self-concept and self-support have close connection.(3)Using more family emotional warmth,mother over protect and less family refuse can help to cultivate the teenagers self-support personality.(4)Family refuse and family emotional warmth are through self-concept on the role of self-support personality,the more positive self-concept,the more self-support personality.
