Feminist Endowed In Women Characters Created By Zhang Xinxin And Piao Wanxu

1980s had witnessed great changes in politics,culture,economy and society both in China and Korea.With the feminist literatures prevailing across the world,feminist literature was also developing under the effect of this movement in China and Korea and Chinese and Korean women writers also entered the arena from the margin drawing people’s attention all over the world.Zhang Xinxin and Piao Wanxu are the most representative women writers respectively in China and Korea during 1980s.Although these two women writers were born in different countries and from different nations,they have similar literature ideas and experiences.Thus,there is great comparison between them.There are numerous researches on feminist literature in the two countries so far but no comparison research on these two writers’ works.Zhang Xinxin and Piao Wanxu’s moving words reveal the tragedies of modern women in the two countries comprehensively and also show their own feminist through their works.Therefore,this paper analyzed the women characters created by Zhang Xinxin and Piao Wanxu comprehensively and deeply in view of these two writers’ works.After comparing,the women characters created by them have many common things.For example,they are women who are independent,oppressed and tough.These two writers’ feminist can be told from the women characters they created.The real reasons and development history of two writers’ feminist are explored from the perspectives of social culture factor,personal growth,education background.In fact,every writer’ s creation attitude and ideas are related to their growth and actual environments they are in.Zhang Xinxin and Piao Wanxu had been through difficulties during their early age so that they have vision and ability to observe their country’s society and feminist.Comparing to men writers,women writers are born with advantages for their gender.They are more careful in emotion and sensitive in feelings so as to make use of their special feelings to create women characters.This paper mainly adopted feminist literature criticism theories,comparison research and parallel researches methods to explore these two women writers’feminist and find similarities and differences between their feminist further on the basis of the women characters created by these two in their works.In addition,this paper found the deep reasons behind these similarities and differences and analyzed these from such there perspectives as writers’ growth,education background and social environment.This paper’s research are divided into three parts:First of all,the first part gave a detailed comprehension of women character created by these two women writers;next,the second one summarized and concluded the writers’ feminist reflected by these women characters;finally,the third one evaluated the reasons why these two women writers fostered feminist and origins of differences deeply from the perspective of feminist literary criticism.It is apparent that these two women writers all expressed their strong feminist in their works respectively.However,after exploring these two’s feminist is different and has great differences.Furthermore,feminist expressed by them is limited but their feminist is able to provide reference for modern women in China and Korea.
