From the establishing diplomatic relations between Sui Dynasty and Goguryeo(the end of the 6 th century)to the end of the war between Tang Dynasty and Balhae(the dawn of the 8th century),it had been about one century.This is the key period for Northeast Asia changing gradually from the chaos to stabilization and from out of order into order.During this time,the areas and nations of Northeast Asia had fights with each other on politic and military,and also,they communicated with each other in culture.This is a quite complex process which gradually established the order of Northeast Asia in Kaiyuan Period.During this process,there were many changes on the relationship between Sui-Tang Dynasties and Goguryeo,Balhae,which includes both friendly communication and big fright.However,the Turkic always influenced these changes by intervening the military directly or hiding behind the policy that Sui-Tang Dynasties had made,which is worthy of discussing and studying.This thesis is going to talks about the policy of Sui-Tang Dynasties(earlier stage)on Goguryeo,Balhae and the hidden influence from Turkic.It is divided into three parts which are introduction,Theories and the conclusion.It includes five chapters.Chapter one is introduction part.It mainly talks about some studies on this topic at home and abroad,and this thesis' views on this topic which includes research purpose,research significance,research method and the innovation point.I will also talk about the background.Chapter two is divided into three parts;it mainly talks about the influence of Turkic on the war and peace between Sui and Goguryeo.First,it anallyes the situation of the LiaoXi in later 7 century;Then,centres on the fight of Sui,Goguryeo and Turkic for the LiaoXi,this thesis analyzes the fight for the power of GaoBaoning and Khitan between Sui,Goguryeo and Turkic,and it also analyzes the intervening of Turkic hidden behind the SuiWendi's declaring war to the Goguryeo.Finally,centres around the Goguryeo's diplomacy which crossed the Sui's border secretly,this thesis talks about the matter that SuiYangdi met the Goguryeo's messenger in the tent of Turkic and the Turkic's containing during the three wars that Suiyangdi declared to Goguryeo.Chapter three is also divided into two parts which mainly talks about Turkic 's influence hidden behind the relationship between early Tang Dynasty and Goguryeo.First,centres on the changes of early Tang Dynasty's policy to Goguryeo,this thesis analyzes the Turkic's influence on the changes from TangGaozu's alliance with Goguryeo to TangTaizong's unfriendly and aggressive policy to Goguryeo.Second,centres on the matter of Turkic's army,it analyzes the War between Tang and Goguryeo 's structure in Turkic's army,the behavior in the war of the LiaoDong,and the effect during the dying out of Goguryeo.Chapter four is divided into three parts which mainly talks about the later Turkic's influence on the relationship between Tang Dynasty and Balhae.First,it analyzes the situation of the Northeast Asia after the demise of Goguryeo and the renaissance of later Turkic.Then it centres on the changes towards Balhae policy in Chou and Tang period,analyzing the hostility between the country Chou and Zhen,the alignment between DaeJoYeong and the later Turkic,and also the mitigating with Zhen under the condition that Tang attacked later Turkic.Finally,this thesis focuses on the dispute between Tang and Bo led by the later Turkic,explaining the foundation of "Four Minority Nations'Union" which includes later Turkic,Balhae,Xi and Khitan and the later Turkic's influence in the war between Tang and Balhae.Chapter five is the conclusion part.It summarizes the main content and the core view of the thesis and it also analyzes the Turkic's different effects under different situation during the relationship between and the policy of Sui-Tang Dynasties on Goguryeo,Balhae.
