Studies On The Localizers Of Warring States

The localizers is a closed class,which has different features in different periods.The localizers,which is in Warring States,is the object of study.We use the method of statistical data to summarize and classify,and use the mean of structuralist linguistic to descripe the localizers of Warring States.And we analysis the grammatical function of the localizers and summarize the historical position and characteristic of the localizers by synchronic and diachronic comparison.Thesis consists of five chapters.In the first chapter,the introductory part defines what the localizers is and what the localizers belongs to.At the same time,we sort out the research status of the Warring,State localizers,introducing the research methods and the basis of this paper.In the second chapter,we study the types of localizers of the Warring State.This paper divides the words into simple localizers and synthetic localizers.There are 16 simple localizers in Warring States:Shang,Xia,Zuo,You,Qian,Hou,Dong,Xi,Nan,Bei,Zhong,Nei,Wai,Ce,Jian,Pang.The number of synthetic localizers is less,which can be divided into two categories:one is compound localizer:Zuoyou,Dongbei;the other one is additional localizer:Dongfang,Nanfang,Beifang.The third part is the usage of the localizers.In this paper,respectively,we intrduce the localizers from two aspects,basic usage of the localizers as well as the usage of extended,aiming to describe and analyzing the position words of Warring States.The localizers of Warring States can be subject,object and attribute.The fourth chapter is intend to study the feature of localizers in Warring States.There is only one formation of localizers' combination:Dongbei.This is related to the nature of the Warring State.From the perspective of diachronic comparison,the simple words have been experienced a process which is from noun to postposition.The fifth part which is conclusion,the simple localizers of Warring State is nearly same with the morden localizers.And the compound localizers is just beginning to start,which for us to understand the evolution of the development of the localizers is of great significance.
