The Research About The Portrait Of Yaohua By Chenshizeng

When I leafed through the album of painting by Chenshizeng with my friends,the portrait of Yaohua attracted our attention.Many advantages of the portrait,such as the frame composition,the sills of drawing,the character image of Yaohua and lots of inscriptions,lead to my following research.Due to many reasons,I regard the portrait of Yaohua as my research object in the period of graduate.On one side,I very love the paintings by Chenshizeng.On the other side,the status of Chenshizeng in art circle in the Republic of China,the advocates and attitude about Chinese painting and the cultural accomplishment of Chenshizeng affect my painting view deeply.In this paper,the first chapter expounded the drawing process of the portrait of Yaohua,summarized the first impression and the collection history about the portrait of Yaohua.The second chapter set forth the relationship between the portrait of Yaohua and inscriptions,then lenovo into Yaohua' circle of friends and the life about literati in the Republic of China.The third chapter expounded the drawing characteristics and contemporary spirit in the Republic of China,then expounded the drawing advocates of Chenshizeng and the characteristics of figure painting by Chenshizeng.By reading the third chapter,you can know more about Chenshizeng and the drawing style in the Republic of China.The last chapter described the calligraphy concept and calligraphy style about the inscriptions in the portrait of Yaohua,then let you know about the development of calligraphy in the Republic of China.This paper aim at further understanding the drawing,calligraphy and the state of life about literati in the Republic of China by studying the portrait of Yaohua,and then let us rethink the drawing and learning by ourselves.
