Chinese is an isolated language,the lack of morphological changes in the strict sense.A lot of grammatical meaning needs to be expressed through word order,so word order is very important for Chinese grammar.Especially Chinese and Mongolian are different language systems,and word order learning is one of the difficulties for Mongolian students in China who are learning Chinese.However,among the many researches on the Chinese errors of foreign students,there are few studies about Mongolian students,particularly fewer studies of Chinese word order errors.Therefore,the study of Chinese word order errors of Mongolian students has a certain practical significance.This thesis takes Mongolian students of elementary chinese proficiency of International Exchange College of Inner Mongolia Normal University as the object of research,using the error analysis theory,contrastive analysis theory and interlanguage theory to analyze the students' homework and examination papers,that divides errors into six main aspects about subject,predicate,object,attribute,adverbial and complement.In this thesis,we make a detailed analysis of each example sentence by applying the methodof error analysis and contrastive analysis.Through the study,we can find that the word errors of Mongolian students in China of elementary chinese proficiency are mainly in the following points: noun the wrong order of subject and predicate,of the verb predicate and the object,of the restrictive attributive,of the adverbial complement,and even of wrong sequence,degree complement and quantity complement.Through this research,we find that the main causes for word order errors are of four aspects,such as the differences between Mongolian and Chinese,the influence of mother tongue and negative transfer,teaching deficiencies and individual differences among learners.For word order errors of Mongolian students in China of primary Chinese level,we can enhance the interest of teaching grammar,or utilize contrastive approach,or teach only the essential and ensure plenty of practice and cultivate the sense of language,use grammar translation method and audiolingual method,compile Mongolian version of the Chinese teaching materials and apply modern educational technology.
