Female College Students On The Relationship Between Gender Role And Occupational Self-efficacy And Career Orientation

At present,the universities largely increased enrollment contributes to a demand saturation of female college students.Female college students' employment is degressive each year in such a social situation.Also,It is difficult for female students to get employed.Many factors contribute to this issue,especially gender role,occupational self-efficacy and career orientation.The present study investigated the relationship between undergraduate female students' gender role,occupational self-Efficacy and career orientation.476 undergraduate female students from Shenyang Normal University was chosen in this study.Gender Role Inventory Ozaki on career self-efficacy scale and Chinese Vocational Interest Inventory type were used to investigate the relationship between graduate female students' gender role,occupational self-efficacy and career orientation.The present study found that:1.Female college students' gender role development has diversified characteristics.Undifferentiated of female college students at most,followed by a double gender,feminine and masculine.Female college students of different grade clearly marked on the male group,including a sophomore college female students belong to male group is significantly higher than the junior and senior of the female college students.Different professional are significant different on the male group,female college students of science professional are significantly greater than other professional.2.Socially typed Female college students career choice tendency is was chosen as the first,then comes to the research,corporate,art and normal types.The reality type is the lowest.3.Feminization of female college students tend to choose social type,art type and common type of work.Otherwise masculine female college students tend to choose social type,corporate and general type of work.4.Feminization of female college students in the traditional male career self-efficacy,lowest of bisexual female college students in the traditional male and female on the career self-efficacy of the highest.5.Traditional male high career self-efficacy of female college students tend to choose the enterprise and research work.Traditional female career self-efficacy of female college students tend to choose high social type,art type and common type of work.6.Masculine female college students in the career choice are influenced by the traditional female career self-efficacy,more likely to choose social type and routine work.The influence of Feminization of female college students' career choice are affected by traditional male career self-efficacy which is smaller...
