An Interpreting Practice Report On Angle's Heart

The author selected volunteer teaching movie Angle's Heart as the subject to illustrate this report. With the guidance of interpretative theory, the author analyzed the simultaneous interpreting by translating the movie Angel's Heart. After referring to relevant articles and papers, the author comprehensively analyzed interpretation theories and strategies used in the paper.This report contains three parts:In introduction, the author will introduce the main contents of Angel's Heart and will list the problems of volunteer teaching programs.The second part is the main body of the report. It consists of four chapters.Chapter one is a task description. In this chapter, the author will describe the objectives of the interpretation task and reasons for selecting the topic.In chapter two, the author will illustrate the translation process. The author will discuss the importance of pre-interpretation preparation and will describe the preparatory work before the interpreting practice, such as the preparation of colloquialism expression,basic math,primary school teaching materials and idiom stories. The author will check English custom and the interpretation of Chinese idiom and idiom stories, and will summarize the interpretation theories and strategies used in the interpreting practice.In chapter three, the author will mainly focus on the application of interpreting skills and will deeply analyze important sentences and keywords in the interpreting practice from three aspects: words and phrases, sentences, note-taking.Chapter four is interpretation task summary. The author will list some unsolved problems in the interpreting practice and will discuss the prospect for the future studies.In the conclusion, the final part of this report, the author will do some rethinks and will summarize lessons and experiences she has learned through the practice.
