Proverbs and idioms are an important part of Korean and Chinese. It is the most representative part of the national characteristics of the culture, language learning and it is a part that can not be ignored. Two countries proverbs and idioms are produced in long-term production life, can reflect the history and culture of the two countries. "Dog" is common in the daily life of animals, and there are many "dog" related proverbs, idioms, but comparative study is relatively rare.In Korean and Chinese, "dog" related proverbs and idioms as the research object, the first in linguistics angle, from aspects such as form, meaning making a comparative study; Secondly, in the culture, with "dog" related proverbs, idioms in performance of "dog" sure signif icance, and the negative aspects of meaningful content, will do a compara tive study; Again according to the cultural content classification of Korean and Chinese.This paper has five chapters:the first chapter for the introduction section, including research, the necessity of research objects and research methods, about Korea saying idiom enforcer research; The second chapter basically expounded with Korea "dog" proverbs, idioms related the form, structure research; The third chapter delimits the saying idioms are symbols of "dog" significance and negative meaning; certainly The fourth chapter from economic, family, basic necessities such cultural content, customs, categorizing; The fifth chapter is a conclusion.First in linguistics angle, and Korean, Chinese proverb with"dog" related is a set pattern, popularize, colloquial expression, has concise style and implicity characteristic; Judging from the description method, the two countries proverbs all have declarative sentence, but Korean use other description methods such as interrogative sentence and imperative sentence.; With "dog" Korean related proverbs listening 25% in; Chinese proverb, the proportion of listening in hkcee, another according to form and meaning, the Korea and."dog" related proverbs idioms are classified into isomorphic agree, abnormity agree, homonymy three types, for Korean application of learners in saying idioms in help.Secondly, in the culture, with "dog" related proverbs, idioms to the affirmation meaning representation as a talented, loyal, intelligent and diligent, etc, and the negative meaning representation for evil, greedy, ungrateful, losers and lowly, etc., the overall, "dog" negative meaning than sure significance.Finally, according to the economic, family, from 11nov07, customs culture contents, classification and compared.
