Affected by historical factors,the Catholic Church has a high influence in the Philippine society.The Catholic Church not only has the mission of religion itself,but also involves the political activities which change the role itself should be.In order to study the emergence of this change,based on the previous study,we can use the relationship between the Catholic Church and the government as the starting point,the 1965-2010 Philippine historical facts as the basis to discuss.Using historical analysis and literature research methods,we can find that the interaction between the Catholic Church and the government has changed over time.It has experienced different stages of cooperation,critical cooperation,resistance,opposition and political supervision.The political influence of the Philippine Catholic Church in the process of interaction with the government showed a deeper degree of politicization and the scope of political participation.Besides,the government changed the attitude of the main disputes and used the pattern of people repeatedly.At the same time,it also reflects some of the problems in the process of democratization in the Philippines.Finally,through the historical facts and the characteristics of the analysis of the relationship between the church and the government,founding that these changes are mainly due to the Catholic Church internal factors,government factors and other political factors.
