Claborate-Style Painting Depicting The Tibetan Religious Figures In Western Sichuan

Tibetan is the major minority at Aba and Ganzi in western Sichuan,of which the unique region style and minority’s customs is always artists’ origin of creation.In Tibetan area,many religious figures,such as nun and lama,become culture attractions.Feeling the harmony,calm and peace in their hearts,and the smile on their faces,compared to our sophisticated state living in the city,the author got a willing to make a person depicting creation,to record their dedication towards religious practice.This article made analysis and research from multiple perspectives on paintings depicting Tibetan religious figures by field sketching,literature review and painting practice.This article elaborated the research in four parts.The first part is introduction,which put forward the general principle according to background,current status,purpose,significance and method of the research.The second part is stepping into western Sichuan,which analyzed characteristics of religious figures and the mysterious Tibetan religious culture.The third part is analysis and research on current religious figures,summarizing techniques and language of painting,as auxiliaries for painting creation.The last part is painting on the basis of research on theory,shape,techniques mentioned in all three chapters above.
