Theme Urban Meticulous Figure Painting Creation Practice

With the rapid development of economy,culture and information,the city scale is growing and modern urban civilization is highly developed.Urban life has become the main melody of people’s life.In this context,domestic painters gradually realized the importance and necessity of paying attention to the city,which then became an emerging field of contemporary Chinese painting creation.Urban meticulous figure painting also came into being under such a background and kept practicing and exploring.In addition,urban meticulous figure painting has won many awards in various art exhibitions in recent years.Urban figures have gradually become one of the indispensable subjects of expression in contemporary Chinese meticulous figure painting,and there have emerged many urban creators specializing in painting urban figures.Whether the works of these painters highlight the hard struggle of the labor group under the urban process,ridicule the self-loss and self-isolation under the urban tide,praise the vivid life under the urban environment,or simply depict the passers-by in a hurry under the rapid pace of the city,they all express the concern and concern of people’s emotions under the contemporary urban life.It can be regarded as a new exploration of the creation direction of Chinese meticulous figure painting.This paper discusses the development of urban theme meticulous brushwork figure painting from three aspects.The first part gives a brief overview of the reasons for the formation of urban theme meticulous brushwork figure painting from two aspects of The Times and creation subjects,and interprets the definition and category of urban theme in the creation of meticulous brushwork;In the second part,through the analysis of the excellent works of fine brushwork figure painting that show the contemporary urban theme in recent years,it analyzes and discusses the crowd and the form of the fine brushwork figure painting in different living conditions.The third part,from the perspective of the influence and inspiration of the development of contemporary urban meticulous figure painting on the author’s works,expounds the techniques used in the creation of "People on the Journey" series of works and the features presented by the works,respectively from the subject selection,brush and ink techniques,picture layout and modeling grasp.Urban theme meticulous figure painting has irreplaceable uniqueness and development advantages in today’s cultural context.
