| SouShenJi is a representative work of mystery novels during the Wei and Jin Dynasties in China,which plays an important role in the Chinese fiction history.GanBao’s SouShenJi has been scattered in the Song and Yuan Dynasties,and the twenty volumes of the immortals that circulate among people nowadays were compiled by Hu Yinglin,many of whose items were not engaged in the textual research.In the paper,with reference to the thirty volumes of New SouShenJi,which is reedited by Li Jianguo based on compilation.Special book’s research is an important part of Chinese history study,and diversity of timing words’ consisting is rich,productive and strong,so it can reflect the characteristics of the vocabulary in this period.At present,the academic circles to New SouShenJi research has not been fully carried out,so the author’s systematic and exhaustive research to the adverbs used in New SouShenJi is very meaningful.It can not only rich our medieval times’vocabulary materials,but also sum up the adverbs’ characteristics and law of the development by comparing the differences between SouShenJi and New SouShenJi.The paper is divided into five parts:the first part is the introduction,which introduces the reason and significance of this paper.It determines the definition and classification of time adverbs based on the research of many scholars and analyses the academic research situation of time adverbs and the problem of rheology in SouShenJi,which lists the general chart of time adverb of this paper;the second part discusses the time adverbs in New SouShenJi,which are divided into three categories:time,frequency,speed.The time adverbs are divided into ten small types according to the tables of past,present and future,precedence,continuous,short,long,final,on time,meanwhile.The frequency adverbs are divided into three categories:repetition,low frequency and high frequency.The speed adverbs are divided into two small types:fast and slow.Each adverb has statistical data and cases to support;the third part discusses the grammatical function of time adverbs of New SouShenJi,from the angles of the combination ability and syntactic components.It fully discusses the vocabulary and grammatical meaning of the time adverb;the fourth part compares the differences between SouShenJi and New SouShenJi through the form image,which reveals the similarities and differences between the two works.It discusses the objection of the time adverbs one by one,which reflects New SouShenJi’s reasonable place of SouShenJi although it absorbs some ancient elements;the fifth part compared the time adverbs of New SouShenJi and the pre Qin,which illustrates the inheritance and development of the pre Qin time adverbs of New SouShenJi and the application of emerging time adverbs from the diachronic perspective.Throughout the paper,the New SouShenJi is not perfect,but more in line with the linguistic features of the medieval period;the sixth part is a summary of the full text,which summarizes the characteristics of New SouShenJi’ time adverbs and reveals the development regularity of the medieval time adverbs. |
