Research On Bailing And His Shouyikan Anthology Of Poems

"Eight banners" poet cluster with the Manchu as the main body including Mongolian and Han army,is an important wing of poetry in the Qing Dynasty.During the Shunzhi and Kangxi Dynasties,eight banners poetry developed quickly and had been prosperous since the Yongzheng Dynasty and in the periods of Emperors Qianlong and Jiaqing.During eighty-five years of Qianlong and Jiaqing Dynasties,in terms of the field of poetry,the eight banners poet constantly emerged with the more famous ones than the former dynasty and the art of poetry was fully mature.As a poet of Chinese banner,being viceroy of Guangdong and Guangxi and assistant grand secretary,Bailing is a provincial magnate.Shouyikan Anthology of Poems of him collects more than two thousand and four hundred poems with rich contents and various subjects.Most of them are the poems responding to relatives and friends and painting poems.His poems are not been polished and just express true temperament.He describes the scenery in simple and straightforward style to create environment with concise and simple and language,bold style of poetry,which makes people excited.As for writing poetry,he learns widely from others' strong points.It relates to the condition that he was a student of Ji Yun whose poetry is similar to Song poetry as a whole.As a provincial magnate,Bailing expresses a feeling of proudly independence and solitude.He can be rewarded with a crown for harboring no evil thoughts and being heroic.To date there is no systematic and specific research on Bailing and his Shouyikan Anthology of Poems,so the study of them still has a broad research space.This paper mainly conducts systematic research and discusses of Bailing and his anthology of poems.The paper is divided into six chapters including the introduction,main text with three chapters,conclusion and appendix.The introduction generally sorts out the current situation of study on Bailing and his anthology of poems.At the same time,it makes a brief summary of the significance and innovation of this paper.The first chapter systematically studies and elaborates Bailing's birth background and life experiences on the basis of a large number of literature data.The second chapter focuses on Shouyikan Anthology of Poems.It briefly describes the version of the anthology and attaches more importance to analyzing and expounding the main content of the poems in detail.Based on the study of the main content of The Shouyikan Anthology of Poems,the third chapter discusses the literary value and poetic thoughts of Bailing's poetry in order to understand his poems more comprehensively.The conclusion summarizes and evaluates the status and influence of Bailing and his anthology of poems,struggling to reveal its literary value objectively and fairly.This paper is appended with the simple chronicle of Bailing to let people have a more intuitive understanding of him.
