The Material Carriers Of "New Ink Painting" In Practice

Ink painting has a checkered history in modern times. The older generation of artists,such as Lin Fengmian,made great breakthrough during the period of the Republic of China;After the founding of the People's of Republic of China,ink painting started the revolution in response to the political;After the reform and opening up, the fashion of “updating concept” rose up. Since the 1990 s, the development of ink painting gradually approaching the situation of more rational, more ontology evolution,and many items emerged,such as the "modern ink painting", "experimental ink painting", "ink painting idea" and "urban ink" and so on.This article debates on the innovation of the new ink paintings,an focuses on language innovation in the material factors.The author believes that art is not always determined by the idea of innovation.language is a tool for concept, and the material is the foundation of artistic language. The artist's task requires that not only do artists have a perceived ability,but also have methods on realization of the conditions, and use materials to make a form of art,which convey feelings and cognition. Based on this understanding, this paper traces on the material supports and the changes in forms of the paintings in history,and the quality and energy of the materials. Through the study and thinking, not only do we have a rough outline of the ideas and results of the ink painting group,but we also have an understanding of it's language form and the details of the morpheme. In terms of materials and media, the ink paintings will constantly improve, also the new media, the new concept and new state will connect, letting the new media plays an important and effective role in the ink paintings, and making the present more innovative and ingenious.
