With sharp observation and exquisite thought, Yan Geling takes exploration of humanity in extreme environment as the lifelong literature pursuit on the compositon process, which widens the manifestation of contemporary literature.This paper tries to break the previous’ classfication of Yan Geling’s works according to themes and periods, taking them in integral perspective and revealing Yan Geling’s humanity concern in her different works about marginal writing.In the first chapter, the author acquires a throught point of Yan Geling’s composition experience and summarizes the variety choices of marginal writing from the marginal figures series and the marginal emotions respectively.The second chapter analyses the narrative skills used by Yan Geling in the marginal wiriting from the mulitplicity of narrative perspective and the multiple sapce-time narratation.The third chapter intends to explore the formation Yan Geling’s marginal writing by applying writer-centered theory to divide Yan Geling’s colorful life into several periods and probe the factors of Yan Geling’s literature desire and writing pursuit.
