In teaching Chinese as a foreign language, teaching textbook is very important,and it plays an important role in teaching. As a new type of teaching textbook, there are many features and advantages that Audio visual teaching textbook has in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. For example use voice, text, animation and other media of multimedia data to combine the traditional independent listening and oral English class and film appreciation course togehter. Through vision, hearing and express, the combination of a full range of language teaching, to improve students listening comprehension ability and oral communicative competence. But at the same time, as a kind of new teaching textbook which widely uses multimedia technology, the research and understanding of it is not complete and comprehensive. So,I use "Chinese city card, folk" as analyse meterial to analyse it's text content and video content.So that increase peopes acquaintance of audio-visual materials, And according to the feedback of students that form learning the teaching textbook, then give suggestion to how to write the textbook and how to teaching the textbook.So that the textbook will provide better service in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
