Research On Arts Of Imitation By Li Bai's Poems To Wenxuan

After Wenxuan coming out as a book,with the research on Wenxuan thriving in Tang Dynasty,and imperial examination beginning to select officers by poems,Wenxuan became popular with people in Tang Dynasty.Wenxuan played an important role in literary creation of poets in Tang Dynasty.Wenxuan had a huge impact on literary creation of Li Bai,too.Li Bai?s imitated Wenxuan when he wrote poems.He imitated Wenxuan in words,sentences,theme and structure.Li Bai often learnt words from Quyuan,Songyu,Caozhi,Baozhao,Xielingyun,Xietiao,Yanyannian,Jiangyan?s works.He also took words from Sao-style literary,Fu-style literary and proses into his pomes frequently.There are three skills that Li Bai imitated Wenxuan in sentences.One is taking sentences from Wenxuan into his poems.Sometimes he took the original sentences into his works without any change.Sometimes he would change the sentences a little then put them into his poems.He also used two special skills which called Xieshangyu and Xiexiayu to modify the sentences from Wenxuan.Besides,he often change the sentences by extending and contracting.One is taking special sentence patterns from Wenxuan into his poems.The other one is absorbing meanings from Wenxuan but not sentence patterns into his poems.There are also three situations that Li Bai imitated Wenxuan in theme and structure.One is imitating the theme and the structure at the same time.In this situation,there are also three kinds: just part of Li Bai ?s poems is imitating Wenxuan in theme and structure;the whole poems of Li Bai are imitating Wenxuan;imitations that have the same names as the works in Wenxuan.One is just imitating the theme.And the other one is just imitating the structure in Wenxuan.In a word,Li Bai imitated Wenxuan when he created works is due to his familiar to Wenxuan.Li Bai was not only imitated Wenxuan,but also made innovations when he created poems.
