Research On The Children’s Home Security And The Color Of Living Environment

The bedroom is the place where children’s activities, children’s household supplies are the major parts of the children’s bedroom environment. As the growth of the demand, A lot of children’s household products appeared in the market, which meet the demand of children’s daily life in a certain extent. However, there are serious defects in the design of the products,which lead to hidden trouble in the process of children’s growth. When children use household supplies will produce a series of risks in the process, because of its special physical and psychological condition. The dominant risk factors for children is a children’s furniture of unreasonable design in the aspect of material, structure, size. Not only that, in the bedroom environment still exist many hidden risk, one of the most important is colour. Unreasonable colour environment will greatly affect children’s psychological health, cause psychological disorders, and adverse effects of long duration and irreversible. Therefore, in this paper, the main research question is: combine with characteristics of children’s physical and mental development, explores easily influence children’s healthy growth of the related factors in household environment, and put forward the design changes to avoid risk.Based on children’s physical characteristics, this paper adopts literature research, analyzed the main risk types of children’s household supplies. On the basis of analyzing main risk types, discusses the children’s bedroom furniture in the design of security considerations, including the material, structure and size. Through the combing and analysis of related standards, and in combination with children’s furniture design case, put forward the design ideas, based on the safety standards in terms of material and structure. In terms of size design, combined with the anthropometric data of minors, gives the functional size range of all kinds of children furniture and put forward the growth of children furniture design method with children’s physical development. Based on the psychological characteristics of children, the paper focuses on the 4-6 years old children’s color preference of psychological cognitive by using quantitative research methods. Experimental investigation for 4-6 years old children, collected 192 children’s color preference data, using mathematical statistic method to establish the correlation between children’s age and gender variables. Through the statistical analysis to describe the regularity of the 4-6 years old children in the bedroom environment colour preferences. Finally, on the basis of the experimental conclusion, combined with the real case, puts forward relevant suggestions for the design of children bedroom colour environment.Based on the relevant national standard, put forward the security design of children furniture is reliable and credible, including material, structure, size design. The conclusion which bedroom environment colour preferences of 4-6 years old of children is believable, by using the method of quantitative research. This paper puts forward the design ideas which avoid the risk of explicit and implicit from the children’s activities in the bedroom, and provides a design method to create appropriate children’s home environment.
