To The Best Of Its Use—The Research Of Ready-made As Art Material

This article focuses on the ready-made art.Since Marcel Duchamp put forward the concept of "ready-art" to now already has a history of nearly a century,but the ready-made art is fresh in the long river of art history.Through this representative artists chose to ready-made art to discusses the three functions of ready-made art:symbol,memory,ideas.American artist Robert Rauschenberg habitually use many symbolic objects to rich the meaning of his works;German artist Joseph Beuys has personal experience of War,so he choose items related to war to arouse the public memory and reflection on the war;American artist Joseph Kosuth make the ready-made totally conceptualization.Compare to the traditional materials,there is some contribution to the appearance of ready-made art in a certain sense,such as expanding areas of the creation and the artist’s way of thinking has been opened.I hope through this research to more complete understanding of the the change that bring by the ready-made art.
