With the continuous expansion of the scale of the overseas Chinese teaching, the number of foreign language teaching in the teaching method is also more diversified.As a second language teaching, the ultimate goal is to teach students to use Chinese to communicate. Therefore, in the process of teaching, teachers should constantly emphasizes the cultivation of students’ communicative competence, to stimulate and maintain students interest in learning, to achieve efficient teaching goals.In the teaching practice in using the story to teach Chinese, after inspection, it has been found that this method has been widely used in second language teaching of Storytelling.The teaching method in the teaching process, to tell the story as a means of teaching by the story explanation and analysis, drill to achieve teaching goals, it to the acquisition of language rules as a guide, in order to achieve a natural communication as the goal, language knowledge, cultural elements of nature into story in volume. Teachers based on the plot of the story, the logical implementation of language teaching, in enhancing the interest of teaching, at the same time, to achieve the teaching goal,and to achieve the purpose of education of entertaining.Firstly, through literature research to the teachers and students introduced the story teaching method theory background, application principle, basic steps, and the in teaching comprehensive comprehensive improvement of the students’ listening,speaking, reading and writing, the role and significance of the four skills. Secondly,Confucius Institute taught by the author in Khartoum University as an example,through the design of teaching plan, comprehensive display of the author in teaching Chinese as a foreign language in the application of the teaching method of actual operation process to confirm the practicability and operability. Hope that through this study in the Chinese language teaching to play a positive role.
