Research Of Tschen Yin Koh's Poetry

Tschen Yin koh is a famous historian and literary scholar in the late Qing Dynasty, who born in a famous family. Tschen Yin koh live in an era has changed a lot, the political, economic and cultural fields all have undergone tremendous changes. In Tschen Yin koh's youth, the Qing Dynasty perished, and the Republic of China replaced it. This is not a replacement of the regime, but a change of China's political and economic system. Though the traditional culture was declining, Tschen Yin koh still adhered to the traditional culture system. Meanwhile, Tschen Yin koh's study abroad experience has taught him to deepen the understanding of traditional culture. Tschen Yin koh is not only a famous historian and literary scholar, but also a great classical poet, his poetry reflects the culture clash of Chinese and Western cultures. This paper intended to do an overall study of Tschen Yin koh's poems, in order to generalize the theme, the characteristics and the spirit of his poetry.Tschen Yin koh has 316 poems saved now totally. His poetry influenced by his family which has academic and poetic tradition, his grandfather Chen Baozhen is a famous courtiers of the late Qing Dynasty, who is good at poetry creating, his father Chen Sanli, who is known as "the last classical poet". This paper will do the research from three aspects, namely, the theme of Tschen Yin koh's poetry, Tschen Yin koh's poetry style, and its inheritance and change of Chen Sanli's Poetry, in order to classify the content of Tschen Yin koh's poem, then analyze and summarize its stylistic features and spirit.This paper is divided into three parts. The first part introduces the theme of Tschen Yin koh's poems. The second part introduces Tschen Yin koh's poetry style. The third part introduces Tschen Yin koh's Poetry's inheritance and change of Chen Sanli's Poetry.
