Pan Yuliang Works Of Art Features And Their Significance

PanYuliang studied in France and Italy in her early life, who was a famous painter in the 1920s; she was a great star in domestic art stage, having a certain influence at that time, holding her own exhibition several times in Shanghai, nanjing. However, in 1937, she faded out of Chinese art circles quietly and lived in France. Despite she left China for art but she never stopped the studying for art; in her later forty years, she was alone and went further and further in art. Although her artistic style had been changed from the beginning a realistic painting to traditional Chinese painting core to the line and then into the canvas to the western painting modeling later method, the background color treatment method, the traditional Chinese painting. During her sojourn in abroad, her many masterpieces were exhibited on the art salon, art gallery in French and other European countries, which was very successful, and her many works were collected by foreign important organization. PanYuliang had a relatively short time at home, however, in 1984, after all efforts, her most late works were shipped to home and kept in Anhui museum. From 1985, PanYuliang's works attract people's eyes, her artistic spirit and the value of her works became the focal point.In contemporary, there are many art genres, artistic conception emerged, and people had a deep understanding to art. So we face a currently problem that how to realize the essence of art in a time, which coins in net, the communication becomes more convenient and the different ethnic and cultural fusion become more closely. PanYuliang's life experiences, her work features, the changes of her style, and the value of art have a practical significance to how to use Chinese and western art element and the creation of the Chinese painting.The thesis aims at analyzing the work features as well as the impact works characteristic, major factors of fodders content, expressional gimmick, the enlightenment of contemporary art works, which through PanYuliang's life experiences. The purpose is showing us a comprehensive, whole understanding to make the people can feel her works. The emotional feeling has a great influence on PanYuliang's art, so we say her art is the external performance; however, spiritual feelings just are the primary motivation for art. Generally speaking, the history of art is the history of human beings. This paper explains PanYuliang's work and studies her artistic spirit through detailed interpretation of the material, in order to make them mutual causal, and make people have a better understanding about PanYuliang and her work as well as her art value. Finally, the author will make a conclusion about the influence on the development of contemporary art.
