| With the development of science and technology and the popularity of the Internet and communication technology, we enjoy the rich and colorful life. at the same time, cyber-bullying phenomenon also appeared frequently. Cyber-bullying is a aggression behavior in addition to physical contact, under normal circumstances, the attackers usually appear in the form of individual or group, they use the network terminal, such as mobile phones, tablet or computer, to those who don’t like or not good at protect themselves implement attack. In recent years, with the aggravation of cyber-bullying phenomenon, foreign researchers started study only in influence factors and characteristics of cyber-bullying. But the domestic research about the high school stage of this phenomenon only just beginning, based on the Chinese culture and combined with empirical research, this study explore the phenomenon about cyber-bullying in Senior High School.A person’s personality is reflected through its language and action. Self esteem is an important component of the personality of a person that can not be separated, what more, it is the key indicators of the mental health. Youth in high school stage is not mature enough in personality development, The cognitive bias is prone to appear, which affected the development of self-esteem. Through the analysis of the related literature at home and abroad found that the relationship concerning cyber-bullying and explicit self-esteem and implicit self-esteem has not been confirmed at present. So, in this study, the research object will be locked for 309 senior high school students, in this study students’ explicit self-esteem to be measured using the Rosenberg self esteem scale. This study take overall sampling form, IAT test to measure the implicit self-esteem.The results of this study are:(1) Cyber-bullying and cyber-bullied among high school students had a high incidence, 44.3% and 63.4%, respectively.(2) There is an obvious gender differences on the phenomenon of cyber-bullying. The proportion of boy in terms of cyber-bullying and cyber-bullied is higher.(3) Senior high school students’ implicit self-esteem presented self-positive cognition.(4) As for high school students, the correlation of implicit self-esteem and explicit self-esteem is very small(r=-0.083).(5) Both cyber-bullying and cyber-bullied behavior was negatively associated with Explicit Self-esteem.the less cyber-bullying and cyber-bullied behavior of the high school students was,the higher level of Explicit Self-esteem would be.(6) Both cyber-bullying and cyber-bullied behavior was positively associated with Implicit Self-esteem. |
