A Study On Spreading Of Shagder’s Oral Poetry

Shagder who lived at Balin in the end of nineteenth centuries and the beginning of twentieth centuries is a famous poet. His oral poetry has been widely circulated among the people.There is a unique style in the history of Mongolian literature. Shagder’s oral poetry was listed as the first batch of municipal intangible cultural heritage and the second batch of autonomous region’s intangible cultural heritage in 2009.The dissertation consists of four parts:Introduction, Main body, Conclusion and Appendix. Introduction gives a brief description of the purpose and significance of the selected topic, research situation, research methods and so on. The main body is divided into three chapters. In the first chapter, the forms of communication of Shagder’s oral poetry is briefly introduced from four aspects:Oral communication, Written communication, image transmission, integrated communication. Oral communication includes the forms of folk tales, Hvrinwulger and folk song. Written communications includes the forms of works sets, commentaries, translations, text books and so on. Image transmission includes the forms of illustrated book and Mongolian drama. Integrated communication includes the forms of broadcast media, TV media and network media. The second chapter mainly analyzes the reasons for widespread dissemination of Shagder’s oral poetry from its social and historical background, theme and artistic features. The third chapter discusses the influence and function of Shagder’s oral poetry. It focuses on the influence on literature and art, and social cultural functions. In the conclusion, the full text is summarized. The realization of various forms of Shagder’s oral poetry is embodiment of people’s wisdom and skills, is also its full embodiment of literature and art, cultural value.In the end, it appendix the catalogue of works cited and referred for this dissertation, survey pictures and transliteration of Shagder’s Hvrinwulger.
