| Objective: In order to investigate the relationship between parent-child conflict coping strategy and the dual filial piety,and to explore the effect of intervening the parent-child conflict coping strategies on high school students by the form of affective filial piety group counseling, this study took high students in grate ten from 4 middle schools in Nanchang as research object.Methods: This study adopted “The dual filial piety belief questionnaire” and“Parent-child conflict coping strategies scale” to investigate 523 students in Nanchang,then analysis the relationship between parent-child conflict coping strategies and the dual filial piety. For the purpose of examining the influence of intervening parent-child conflict coping strategies, this study selected 26 volunteer in grate ten who had low affective filial piety and high competitive strategy.Results:(1) There was a significant difference between the affective filial piety and competitive strategies with mother in terms of gender(P<0.05).(2) Competitive strategy is positively related to the authority of filial piety, but it was negatively related to the affective filial piety; these strategies were negatively related to the authority of filial piety, and positively related to the affective filial piety, which included cooperation strategy, compromise strategy, concession strategy and avoidance strategy.(3) The analytical data of before-test and after-test had showed,there was significant difference between them in terms of affective filial piety and parent-child conflict coping strategy(P<0.05). After the intervention of group counseling, the score of affective filial piety was significantly higher than the pre-test score(P<0.05), and the score of competitive strategy was significantly lower than the pre-test score(P<0.05).Conclusions:(1) There was a significant correlation between the dual filial piety and parent-child conflict coping strategy, and affective filial piety can predict the parent-child conflict coping strategy;(2) Affective filial piety group counseling can improve the level of affective filial piety, and this would lead students to increase cooperation strategy and to reduce the use of competition strategy with his father. |
