The Analysis Of Jian Bozan's Historiography Thoughts

The history of China in the 20 th century plays an important role in the development process of Chinese historiography. And Marxist historiography of this period also has an extremely profound influence on the development and evolution of Chinese historiography. Briefly, marxist historiography thoughts began in the 20 th century, and matured in the Anti-Japanese War. It became the mainstream of Chinese historiography after the founding of new China. Under new historical conditions, it has been given new annotation. Now, order to promote the further development of the marxist historiography, to study marxist historian is inevitable. And in order to study marxist historian, Jian Bozan is a representative who cannot be ignored. He engaged in every part of the marxist historiography, including its generation, development and flourish. And he made a great contribution to its development.Jian Bozan, Uigher of China, is one of the five prominent Chinese marxist historiographer. His hometown is Taoyuan County in Hunan State of China. He started to study historiography officially when the great debate of social happened.His historical researches are extremely expanding and he made remarkable achievements on political history, ethnohistory, intellectual history, social history,economic history, general history and so on.He is one of the founders of marxist historiography that well-deserved. His works includes A Course in the Philosophy of History,Treatise on Chinese History(the first series, the second series),An Outline of Chinese History(the first volume, the second volume),Historical Data and the Study of History, Discussions of Historical Questions, Timeline of Chinese and Foreign History, etc… This article is trying to systematically analyze the generation, content,characteristic and status of Jian Bozan's historiography thoughts through his biography materials, academic work and other relevant historical materials. The basic structure and contents arrangement are as follows:The first part is the analysis of the reasons for the formation of Jian Bozan's historical thoughts, which is affected by the aristocratic family background; second is driven by feelings of patriotism in the process of exploring the way to save his country; and then Lu Zhenyu and Guo Moruo's thouhts. The second part is the priority for all, mainly about the study of Chinese social situation development history,the development of Marxist historical materialism, historical theory based on the principles of historicism, the relationship between history and theory, the perfection ofnational relation history research and unique research for the six aspects of general history. The third part is to explore the characteristics of Jian Bozan's historiography thoughts, which is based on the content of his historiography thoughts. The fourth part is to research the effect and status of Jian Bozan's historiography thoughts for the development of Chinese historiography in 20 th century. All in all, the former part is the integration Conception of History and Historical Materials, to promote the modern reforming of the traditional historiography; the latter part is the integration of theory and practice, to defend the scientific direction of the development of historiography.
