A Study On Yan Xishan’s Thought Of Da Tong

Yan Xishan,a famous warlord and leader of the Republican government in China’s modern history,who practices in economic,politics,military and etc.,scholars have been doing research on his contribution to Xin hai Revolutionary,especially his polices has an significantly impact on the development of Shan Xi province during the period of his power in there.especially,his polices and.After retreating to Taiwan,he proposed a more systematic and comprehensive thought called "Great Harmony",which is explicated in works called the Road to Great Harmony and Great Harmony in the World."Great Harmony",a kind of thought based on the "Confucian’s Thought",which is expounded by the combination the over 40 years experience with his analysis on Communism,and he considers the thought as a approach to reform the great harmony with the theory on politics,economics,culture,and society of the thought.The research was based on the basic historical data to interpret with his works as the original documentary material in historical comparative analysis and inductive methods,and archives,memoirs,diaries and newspapers and literature data are as reference to be refined and summarized,showing the picture of Yan Xishan Great Harmony objectively and systematically to adhere to the methodology of historical materialism on the ideological history theory.There are three parts to be analyzed and researched in this paper.The first part,it introduces the background information of research,issues raised about this paper,and progress about domestic’s and oversea’s.The second part,the origin and content of the thought are as a key to the research,and then it discusses the political theory,the economical theory,cultural theory and " WorldWide Great Harmony ",after the thought is interpreted comprehensively and sysmetically,reader understands more deeply for the demonstration of the thought.The third part,Confucian’s,Hong Xiuquan’s in Tai Ping Heavenly Kindom,kang Youwei’s thought are compared with the thought,it interpretes the characteristic of the thought and the influnces on the other thought during different historical situations.In the end,it concludes the enlightment and thinking to us by the thought.
