Address terms is a very special and very important part of modern Chinese.It is used in human society to specific interpersonal relations and identity of the role of the title,is a sign of social status,social relations,to a certain extent,reflects the social culture and thinking and communication.The special point of address terms is that it is the first pass of the communication,and it is an indispensable part of verbal communication.Without it we often do not have a title to speak,this is to say that the title is the first step in our communication with others,and this first step will often affect the whole process of our communication,and even the success or failure of communication.Therefore,it is very important to choose proper and proper address terms.So in a lot of communication strategies,the address terms is the most basic strategy,but also the most difficult to grasp.For Chinese native speakers,to choose address terms maybe relatively easy,but it is not entirely without problems.We usually encounter situations that are inappropriate or can't find the right address.And for the learners from different language backgrounds who learning Chinese as their second language,how to correctly select and use appropriate address terms in verbal communication activities is more difficult.This paper starts from the study of the ontology of the modern Chinese address terms.The concept,classification,characteristics and pragmatic functions of modern Chinese address terms,and their cultural connotations behind them are further recognized.At the same time,this paper expounds the importance of the teaching of Chinese Appellation in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.And then try to Korean students as the research object.We investigate the situation of Korean students learning and using Chinese address terms by questionnaire.And statistics and finishing survey results,applying the Inter-language theory,Cognitive theory,Error analysis theory,Contrastive analysis theory and so on.We summarize the common types of errors made by Korean students in the use of modern Chinese address terms and the causes of these errors.And then puts forward some countermeasures and methods for the teaching of Chinese address terms.We hope that we can provide some reference and use for reference in the teaching practice of Chinese address terms in the future.
