| First of all, the author has taken part in three conferences in her internship workplace Wuyi Economic and Commercial Bureau and takes the speech as materials.Then, analyze and summarize as well as write the report according to the experience the author got from the practice.These three conferences are all together more than three hours and about ten thousand nine hundred and seventy-five Chinese characters. The theme and the conference agenda are the same, which are the summary and analysis that made by local government for the economy and the arrangement for next month. They belong to the administrative type of literature. The language style is official. There are a lot of parallel construction of sentences in the speech. The sentences of verb structure without subject come up a lot. Many adjectives are used together with long sentences.There are also many political terminologies. In the report, the author will introduce how to interpret long and hard sentences through translation methods such as literal translation and free translation, domestication and foreignization, syntactic linearity and how to interpret the administrative type of literature in the speech by using interpreting skills of anticipation, attention splitting, note-taking and parsing. Before the interpretation, the author uses the anticipation method to anticipate the grammar,background and content of the conference which could ease the burden of listening and reinforce the accuracy of listening. During the interpreting, using the attention-splitting method could alternatively help the author to remember the key words and sentences which could lower the difficulty and strengthen the accuracy of memory. Note-taking is the indispensable skill during the process of interpreting,which can make up the shortage of short memory and improve the efficiency of interpretation.This report aiming at analyzing how to interpret the administrative type of literature in the speech according to its characteristics, makes a summary and provides references for interpreters who want to interpret the similar speech. |
