The Ming and Qing dynasties is the last period of the imperial society of ancient China. Its economic,political and cultural heritage on the basis of the precious generation and reached a peak in the history. But it’s short. This is mainly reflected by the decline of the regal power and the further development of democratic.However, the clan system as a tradition ethics system which follows several thousand years wasn’t fall along with it. It keeps pace with the times and adapt to social development through reform and innovation in different times. And then it becomes a positive factor in the development of society. It is inseparable with the family rules which is known as the three pillars of the patriarchal clan.Influenced by natural and geographical environment, the develoment of Zhangzhou is late and slow. The small-scale peasant economy occupies the absolute position, which makes the development of Zhangzhou is limited. It is conducive to the continuation and development of the traditional clan system.Until the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Yuegang became an important port of foreign trade. The Economic form of Zhangzhou was impacted, and promoted the change of clan system.In the process of innovation, it involves a wide range of content, including Clan origin, children’s education and female problems can be known.Clan origin means the ancestor worship and clan origin traceability in the clan organization. Its specific performance is ancestor worship and record the descendants who move to another place. These are favorable to the unity and cohesion in clan.The education of children is of great significance to the clan organization.
