Self-perception scholastic competence and self-perception social competence are two kinds of very important competence in the life of students.They play a significant role in almost every aspect of students' personal life.However,the previous researches mainly focused on the primary school students and the college students while the junior high school students and the high school students are paid little attention to.But the individual in this stage is at a turning point in life,and it is self-evident that adolescence is very important to the individual.Meanwhile,there will be a significant change in the relationship of attachment in this period.This change will have an impact on the self-perception scholastic and social competence of the adolescents,and self-esteem also plays a role between them.In this study,these issues will be discussed in detail.In this study,469 adolescents which are in junior school,senior school and college,are selected as the test object.The relationship among adolescent attachment,self-esteem and self-perception scholastic and social competence is studied in this article,and then the intermediary effects of the self-esteem are explored.The psychological questionnaires include Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment(IPPA),the scholastic competence scale and the social competence scale in Self-Perception Profile for Adolescents(SPPA),Self-esteem scale(SES)and so on.The main research results are shown as follows.(1)There is a gender difference in the peer attachment of the adolescents,and the peer attachment score of girls is significantly higher than that of boys.There is a grade difference in the parent-child attachment.The overall change tendency shows it decrease first and then increase,and it reaches the minimum in the Grade one of high school.(2)There is a grade difference in the self-perception scholastic and social competence of the adolescents.The overall change tendency shows it decrease first and then increase,and it reaches the minimum in Junior Three.There is a native place difference in the self-perception scholastic competence,and the self-perception scholastic competence of urban adolescents is significantly higher than that of rural adolescents.(3)There are four aspects,which are the parent-child attachment,the peer attachment,the self-esteem and the self-perception scholastic and social competence.We can find that they have significant correlation between each other.(4)There is an intermediary effect of the self-esteem between the attachment and the self-perception scholastic competence of the adolescents,and there is a partial intermediary effect of the self-esteem between the attachment and the self-perception social competence of the adolescents.
