The Chinese oil painting is the most important stages of enlightenment. Although it is only the short 38 years, but the artistic ideology contending and the master production, School of Fine Arts, Painting community is highly fragmented. A large number of visionary painters have the foresight to the inherent culture of the Chinese nation for the soil. In the Western and Oriental advanced knowledge for nourishment, to make "Western integration" Artistic thought Wyatt has become a trend. Although their exploration was interrupted by the war, although only the history of Chinese Modern Paintings shortest period, but it is not a lack of content, instead it's let people to remember.Therefore,to explore the development of Chinese oil painting, is bound to the Republic of China of oil painting on Chinese and Western fusion research. But at present the academia study for Republican of China on fusion of oil painting of Chinese and Western's art creation, artists and artistic characteristics is not enough system and perfect, most is only a macro grasp. Therefore, to study of the fusion of Chinese and Western oil painting during the period of the Republic of China, and to experience its artistic characteristics is necessary. Research on this question in favor of understanding the law of development of Chinese painting and localization development context, And also conducive to the further development of Chinese painting and inheritance. Based on the research of the fusion of Chinese and western oil painting during the period of the Republic of China, in theory, hoping that have a deeper understanding of the Republic of China oil painting development, we also hope to create value which to discuss Chinese painting's "localization and nationalization" create value.This article will be the development of the Ming Qing Painting and fusion of Chinese and Western oil painting on the background environment, adopt diversied, multi-angle, multi-level research methods, of the Republic of creative fusion of Chinese and Western oil painting to undertake a comprehensive and diachronic case study. Through literature analysis, comparative analysis, drawing analysis, case analysis, the creation of psychological analysis, to summarize and analysis the fusion of Chinese and Western oil painting's creative path. During the period of the Republic of China is represented by Lin Fengmian, Wang Yuezhi, Pan Yuliang and other the fusion of Chinese and western artist, to them causes of the style, artistic thinking, creative mind and painting features and other aspects of research and analysis, trying to draw painting Western integration development context and significance of the Republic of influence. Third, Republican painting creative fusion of Chinese and Western artists are not random independent practice, but in Western painting as the basis, there is a purpose, there are plans's group practice, not only for the development of Chinese painting it plays an important role, Chinese painting innovation also played a positive effects and influence. At last, Integration of Republican spirit still inspires us, Artistic creation should not only focus on form, technique factors, Pay more attention to the inherent ethos nation and reflect Chinese artists sentimental value. Therefore, any loss of national spirit and artistic innovation of traditional culture, are only weak and loss of soul, bound to be a moment of popular, Can not stand the test of time and history.
