Abstract:This study refers to the knowledge of "Toyota Production System" and identifies its potential effects on improving the effectiveness of teaching Chinese language, which introduces several aspects including Just In Time, Pluripotency, Pre-warning, Five-why analytical method, Visualization and Improvement, and Equalization. Through implementing in a case study of teaching in the Really Chinese Language School, the feasibility and reliability of TPS has been evaluated as a reference to the related research field.This study practiced the 6 sub-concepts of TPS in teaching for the HSK Class 5 and Class 6 level's reading and writing, identified the improvements in lessons by tracking the changes of test scores.In addition, due to an interview to the frontier researchers and teachers, advices and suggestions also indicate the effectiveness of TPS, as well as the support to the next-step research and practice.
