Report On The Translation Of Regulatory Plan For Meishan Revolutionary Tourist Area

This report is about the translation analysis of a tourism plan which combines scientific introduction with aesthetic description.The source text is a development plan for a tourism attraction,which integrates the revolutionary history with natural scenery.The plan is applied to guide the construction and management of the tourism project.Under environment of the International Tourism Island construction,translation of related tourism text could be helpful to promote tourism.The source text is composed of sixteen chapters and the translation covers seven of them.Under the guidance of the "functional equivalence" theory put forward by Dr.Eugene A.Nida,this report is presented in four chapters.The first chapter introduces the background&necessity of translation,and concludes the overall structure of this report.The second chapter concerns the research background of translation and features in the source text.The third chapter identifies the difficulties from three layers of words,sentences and paragraphs,and then discusses the corresponding methods in the translation process.And in the fourth chapter,the translator will summarize the experiences acquired from the translation and the problems that need to be solved in the future.
